Q. Where are you from?
I am originally from Poland and moved to the UK (Lichfield) in 2013.
Now I am lucky enough to live on the coast in Cornwall on the beautiful Rosealand Peninsular just outside Portscatho
Most of my paintings reflect the local scenery and life here, together with magical characters that have been conceived from this amazing inspirational place.
Q.What do you do when not painting?
We have a large garden full of lovely plants and trees which in itself is a full time job. There are lots of beautiful beaches a short walk from the house I take the dog to most days. She loves that..Once a week we explore new places in Cornwall giving me inspiration for new artworks.
Q. So who is Flapjack?
Flapjack was a scruffy old seagull I met once on my local little beach . Unfortunately that was the only time I ever met him, but the next day he left me 5 volumes of his memoirs to tell the world about his life and adventures which are all contained in these books. I do that on a regular basis as promised with paintings of the various stories offered for sale here., You can find all the comical interesting stories and links to the associated paintings in the 'Adventures of Flapjack' Section
